Abstract:

Daha "Alp Arslan ve Zamanı" adlı kitabımızın başında Büyü k Selçuklu İmparatorluğu'nun yapısından bahsederken, devletin Türkler ve İranlıla r olmak üzere, başlıca iki etnik unsura dayandığını, mülkî teşkilât kadrolarını umumiyetle İraıılılar'ın, askerî teşkilât kadrolarını ise hemen hemen müshasıran Türkler'in işgal ettiklerini belirtmiştik1 . Iranlılar'ııı hangi kadroları işgâl ettiklerini ve devlet hayatındaki rollerini, Alp Arslan zamanında hükümet ve eyâlet teşkilâtını bahis mevzuu ederken, yine aynı kitabımızda belirtmeye çalıştık. Şimdi de aynı hükümdar zamanında, Türkler'in başlıca rolü oynadıkları askerî teşkilâtı ve meselelerini ele alacağız.
