Özet:

Currently football is one of the most practiced sports in the world. The satisfaction of professional football athletes is very important, as it contributes to better performance and team results. The study aims to analyze the satisfaction levels of professional football athletes in the city of Patos-PB. For this purpose, it is an exploratory study, it is field research and a quantitative approach, the sample consists of 40 professional football athletes, 20 athletes from the Nacional Atlético Clube de Patos team and 20 athletes from Esporte Clube de Ducks. A QSA athlete satisfaction questionnaire was used, presented in a seven-point format. Thus, the questionnaire consisted of 42 questions answered on a Likert scale from 1 to 7 points and is divided into 4 dimensions. The data obtained were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program, version 25. Thus, it was observed that the football athletes from the city of Patos-PB in relation to the dimensions of performance, leadership; satisfaction with the team and satisfaction with personal dedication is on average between moderately and extremely satisfied. Which allows us to conclude that the athletes are satisfied with regard to team performance, leadership, personal and team satisfaction.
