Abstract:

This study was aimed at the study of anti-Fasciola hepatica antibodies in 347 male students from 28 different countries who came to Kayseri for high school. Methods: In our study, serum samples taken from 347 male students, who came from 28 different countries and studied at a high school in Kayseri, ranging from age 15 to 21 (age average: 17.52±1.36) were studied anti-F. hepatica antibodies with the IHA method. Examples of ejaculation taken from seropositive persons were studied by the method of nativ-lugol in the egg of the parasite. Results: 14 (4.03) of the students identified sero-positivity in 1/320 dilutions, but none of them found F.hepatica eggs in the output sample. Result: A major public health problem, fasciolosis is serologically detected in foreign citizens who see high school studies in the province of Kayseri. Considering the epidemicology of this infection, people should be informed of the necessary methods of protection and control.
