Abstract:

A Case of Synchronous Bilateral Testicular Tumor: Mixed Germ Cell Tumor With Pure Seminoma
2019

Abstract:

Testial cancer is a rare tumor and accounts for 1-2% of the cancers found in men. Bilateral testicular tumor is a much more rare condition. Only 35% of bilateral testicular tumors are seen as synchronous tumors. In synchronous tumors, bilateral seminoms are observed, while on the one side of the seminoms, on the other side, non-seminamatous tumors are found less frequently. Although gold in treatment appears to be a standard bilateral radical orchectomy, infertility, hormonal failures and psychosocial factors have triggered partial orchectomy. In the presentation of this fact, we intended to identify the synchronous bilateral testicular tumor and to present the fact that on the one hand the radical orchectomy on the other hand is applied and the pathology results in the one side of the pure seminom on the other testicular and the non-seminamatous germ cell tumor is.
