Abstract:

As long as human beings have been on earth, change and development have always been inevitable and experienced. Especially in the last century, this rapid change and development has been experienced in every field, but it has also reflected on the understanding of management and therefore on organizations. It is very difficult for organizations that do not renew themselves and are closed to development in today's world, which is globalizing and where borders have somehow been lifted. The fact that organizations can only survive and compete with human-centered management policies finds its place in today's world. It is obvious that the success of the organization in achieving the goals it has set as its own goals depends on the value of the human resources they have. For this reason, in our age, which is based on the human resources management approach by moving away from the traditional personnel management approach from the past to the present day, it has become important to find and eliminate the factors that cause negative organizational behaviors, while bringing organizational commitment to the fore, adding it to the organization and ensuring that it is present in the organization.

Studies show that high organizational commitment facilitates the process of ownership of the institution. In this respect, for an effective organizational commitment, it is important to know the reasons that decrease the organizational commitment of the administrators, the factors that affect the organizational commitment, the strategies and methods that will increase the organizational commitment. In this study, the factors affecting the organizational commitment of administrators working in basic education institutions were discussed and satisfactory answers were sought.
