Bu çalışmada işletmelerin KSS faaliyetleri, Vekâlet Teorisi ve Meşruluk Teorisi kapsamında incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın örneklemine BIST 100 Endeksinde, BIST Sürdürülebilirlik Endeksinde ve de BIST Kurumsal Yönetim Endeksinde yer alan tüm işletmeler dahil edilmiş olup toplamda yüz yirmi iki işletme incelemeye alınmıştır. Yapılan inceleme sonucunda, işletmelerin yarısından azının KSS faaliyetlerini dijital ortamda paylaştığı, yine yarısından azının çevre konusuna vurgu yaptığı ve incelenen işletmelerden hiçbirinin GRI Raporuna değinmediği belirlenmiştir. İncelenen işletmelerin yaklaşık olarak üçte biri dijital ortamda KSS projelerine yer vermektedir. KSS projelerinin paylaşım sıklığı incelendiğinde ise işletmelerin gerçekleştirdiği projeleri ortalama olarak son sekiz yıl üzerinden paylaştığı belirlenmiştir. İlgili faktörler üzerinden oluşturulan dijital KSS derecelendirme puanına göre ise hem BIST Sürdürülebilirlik Endeksinde hem de BIST Kurumsal Yönetim Endeksinde yer alan işletmelerin dijital KSS derecelerinin diğer endeks işletmelerine göre daha yüksek olduğu, sadece bir endekste yer alma durumuna göre bakıldığında, BIST KYE işletmelerinin BIST SE ve BIST 100 işletmelerine göre dijital KSS derecesinin daha yüksek olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar ışığında bu çalışmanın literatürdeki boşluğu dolduracağı ve ilgili araştırmacılar için yeni bir yol oluşturacağını söylemek mümkündür.
Corporate Social Responsibility studies of businesses were examined within the scope of Agency Theory and Legitimacy Theory. All the businesses of BIST 100 Index, Sustainability Index and BIST Corporate Governance Index have been studied and a total of one hundred and twenty-two businesses have been examined. It is determined that less than half of the businesses share their corporate social responsibility activities in the digital environment, and also less than half of them emphasize the environmental issues, and none of the businesses refer to the GRI Report. Almost one third of the businesses include CSR projects. When the frequency of CSR projects is examined, it is determined that the projects realized by the businesses are shared over the last eight years on average. According to the digital CSR rating made over the relevant factors, the digital CSR ratings of the businesses in both BIST Sustainability Index and BIST Corporate Governance Index are higher than the other index businesses, and the digital CSR degree of BIST Corporate Governance Index businesses are higher than BIST Sustainability Index and BIST 100 businesses. It is possible to declare that this study fills the gap in the related literature and creates new paths for the relevant researchers.
