Abstract:

Turkey is ranked first in the world with a share of 24.92% in the production season 2016/2017. Turkey is followed by the US, China, Iran and Uzbekistan. Depending on climate factors, the world’s untouched dry wheat production is volatile. The world’s non-core dry wheat export volume varies over the years, but is about 750 thousand tons. In the 2016/2017 export period, the world exports were 774,714 tons and the share of Turkey was 34%. At the same time, with approximately 85% of the produced vineyard exports, the world is also a prominent country in the non-track dry vineyard market. In world exports, Turkey follows; Iran, the United States, Uzbekistan and Chile. In Turkey, dry wheat exports are generally made from Izmir. It is also trading in the İzmir Trade Exchange and the market is happening here. The main problems in Turkey's non-core dry wheat production; significant variations in production that occur by years depending on the climate situation, the problem of the residues in exported products, the form of the non-comprehensive and effective organization of producers. This study focuses on the policies that must be monitored in order to increase the exports of Turkey, the foreign trade structure has been drawn up, the state of the world and in Turkey has been revealed, the state of the production of raw grain has been drawn up, the foreign trade structure has been drawn up, and the exports of Turkey can be increased.
