Abstract:

Nowadays, the Ahiska region term refers to the region of more than 200 villages affiliated to administrative units including the territory of Adygön, Ahiska, Aspinza, Ahlkelek and Bogdanovka which are outside our borders with the Moscow Treaty of 16 March 1921, located in the South-West region of Georgia. Although they lived in different parts of the former Soviet Union, Ahıska Turks have been able to protect their own selves, beliefs, speech language, customs and customs. Although they do not have a certain literature, they have been able to bring their literary qualities up to today thanks to oral culture. The dialects of Ahiska region which gives a geographical view where Oguz and Kipchak Turks are blended, Artvin, Ardanuc, Artvin Merkez, Yusufeli, Shavshat districts located in the north-east of Turkey, Ardahan's Posof region and Çoruh Ridge of Erzurum in some respects it also has commonalities with the Eastern Black Sea dialects. As it is seen, Ahiska Turkish Dialects are branch of Turkish dialects. With its special features, Ahiska Turkish Dialects continue to exist as one of the fresh regions of Turkic dialects. Under the power of Turkish Language Research Association founded in 1932 "Journal of the Word of the People in Turkey" was revealed. This magazine enriched "Dictionary of Compilation". This "Dictionary of Compilation" is enriched with the contributions made today. In this study, from the Ahiska Dialects which is one of the branches of Turkish Dialects significant contributions to the "Compilation Dictionary" will be provided at the word level. In this way, "Compilation Dictionary" will be enriched even more.
