Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’de sınıf öğretmeni yetiştirme sürecinde geliştirilen/değiştirilen programlar kapsamında müzik derslerinin yeri, kredi, saat ve ders sayısı bakımından incelemektir. Araştırma betimsel nitelikte olup, veriler doküman analizi yöntemi ile elde edilmiştir. Doküman analizi sürecinde farklı yıllarda yürürlüğe giren Sınıf Öğretmenliği programlarında yer alan “müzik öğretimi” dersi ile ilkokul müzik dersi içerik ve kazanımları karşılaştırılarak ele alınmıştır. Sınıf öğretmenliği programına yönelik incelemede, 1998, 2007, 2018 programlarındaki ders tanımlarında meydana gelen değişiklikler tespit edilmiş ve 2018 programında sadece “müzik öğretimi” dersinin 2007 programındaki aynı tanım ile yer aldığı belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada, İlkokul müzik dersi, kazanımları ve içerikleri bakımından “müzik öğretimi” dersi içeriğiyle karşılaştırılmış ve büyük oranda örtüştüğü görülmüştür. Ayrıca MEB ÖYGM tarafından hazırlanan öğretmen yeterlikleri içerisinde sınıf öğretmenliği alanına ilişkin müzik alanı incelenmiş ve bu yeterlikler kapsamında değerlendirildiğinde “müzik öğretimi” dersi ile örtüştüğü ortaya konmuştur. Tüm programlar ve yeterlikler büyük oranda örtüşmekle birlikte sınıf öğretmenliği programında yer alan müzik öğretimi dersini alacak öğrencilerin hazırbulunuşluk düzeylerine bakılmadan bir dersin öğretimi dersini almalarının kredi ve saat bakımından uygulamada aksaklıklara neden olabileceği söylenebilir. Ayrıca ilkokul 1,2,3,4. sınıflardaki kazanımların gerçekleştirilmesi bakımından da aksaklıklar yaşanabileceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bütün bu değerlendirmeler sonucunda sınıf öğretmenliği programlarında müzik ders sayılarının, kredi ve saatlerinin artırılması, sınıf öğretmenliği programlarındaki öğrencilerinin yetenek ve hazırbulunuşluk düzeylerine göre seçmeli derslerle desteklenmeleri gerektiği, bu düzenlemeler yapılıncaya kadar ilkokul 1,2,3,4. sınıf müzik derslerine müzik branş öğretmenlerinin girmesi önerilmiştir.
The aim of this study is to examine the music lessons in terms of place, credits, hours and number of lessons within the scope of the programs developed/modified during the primary school teacher training process in Turkey. The research is descriptive in nature and the data were obtained by document analysis method. In the document analysis process, the content and achievements of the primary school music lesson with the "music teaching" course in the Classroom Teaching programs that came into force in different years were discussed. Changes in the course descriptions in the primary school teaching 1998, 2007, 2018 programs were identified and it was seen that only "music teaching" course was included in the 2018 program with the same definition in the 2007 curriculum. Primary school 1,2,3,4. The outcomes of the classes were examined and compared with the content of the “music teaching” course in terms of their contents and it has been observed to largely overlap. In addition, the field of music related to the field of classroom teaching was examined within the teacher competencies prepared by the Ministry of Education evaluated within the scope of these competencies, it was observed that it coincides with the "music teaching" course. Although all programs and competencies overlap to a great extent, taking the teaching course of a course regardless of the readiness level of the students who will take the music teaching course in the classroom teaching program may cause problems in terms of credits and hours also primary school 1,2,3,4. It has been concluded that there may be problems in terms of realizing other gains. As a result of all these evaluations, it is necessary to increase the number of music lessons, credits and hours in classroom teaching programs, to support students in classroom teaching programs with elective courses according to their abilities and readiness levels, and until these regulations are made, primary school 1,2,3,4. It was suggested that music branch teachers attend classroom music lessons.
