Abstract:

12 September 1980 military coup affected deeply whole society and politics at Turkey. One of the affected political movements by the coup is the nationalist movement. The nationalist movement had identified oneself as "auxiliary power for the state that fights against communism" before the coup. But after the coup, the nationalists experienced oppression, judgment, torture, arresting even execution from the state. This situation brought into trauma effect and then criticism and separation at the nationalist movement. So, fractures occurred at the "leader, organization, doctrine" watchword. In this study, the separations in idea area and organizational area such as founding Big Union Party and the causes and results of these separations at the nationalist movement will be researched
