Peroneal artery pseudoaneurysms are seldom than the other peripheric pseudoaneurysms. They are usually seen after a trauma or as a complication of catheter tromboembolectomy. They may be evident with findings like swollen leg, pulstatil mass, bleeding and pain. Although conventional angiography is the main procedure for diagnosis, color doppler ultrasonography (CDUS), computed tomographic angiography (CTA) and magnetic resonans angiography are the non-invasive procedures being used nowadays. At CDUS, presence of ‘to and fro’ flow patern at neck of pseudoaneurysm and whirpool flow patern ( ying-yang sign) in pseudoaneurysm are patognomonic. At CTA contrast-material extravasation, relationship between peroneal artery and pseudoaneursym can be revealed. Lesions of surrounding bone and soft tissues can be demonstrated. It may be shown that if peroneal artery proximal and distal segments are interrupted at the pseudoaneurysm level. CTA is the guide to choose the treatment method/procedure in peritoneal artery pseudoaneurysm.
