Cerrahi Hemşirelerinin İş Doyumları ve Etkileyen Faktörler

Abstract:

Amaç: Bu çalışmada, cerrahi hemşirelerinin iş doyumlarını ve iş doyumunu etkileyen faktörleri belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Materyal ve Metot: Araştırma, tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel bir araştır-madır. Bir üniversite hastanesinin cerrahi kliniklerinde çalışan 474 hemşire araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturdu. Araştırmada, kişisel bilgi formu ve “Minnesota İş Doyumu ölçeği” kullanıldı. Veriler Kruskall-Wallis ve Mann Whitney U testleri ile analiz edildi. Bulgular: Cerrahi hemşirelerin yaş ortalamasının 33,38 ± 7,51 olduğu, %65,6’sının mesleği isteyerek seçtiği, %50,8’inin çalışma ortamından kısmen memnun olduğu saptandı. Cerrahi hemşirelerinin iş doyum puan ortalaması, genel doyum puanı 3,11±0,56, içsel doyum puanı 3,28±0,55, dışsal doyum puanı 2,86±0,69 olarak bulundu. Cerrahi hemşirelerinin yaşının, cinsiyetinin, medeni durumunun, eğitim durumunun, çalışma yılının, çalışma şeklinin, çalıştığı birimin, mesleği isteyerek seçme durumunun, çalışma ortamından memnuniyetin, haftalık çalışma saati gibi faktörlerin iş doyumlarını etkilediği belirlendi. Sonuç: Bu araştırma sonucunda, cerrahi hemşirelerinin iş doyumlarının orta düzeyde olduğu belirlendi. Cerrahi hemşirelerinin başarı, takdir edilme, yükselme ve terfi olanakları, işin sorumluluğu gibi işin içsel niteliğine ilişkin faktörlerden oluşan içsel doyumlarının daha yüksek; denetim şekli, yönetici-çalışma arkadaşları ile ilişkiler, çalışma koşulları gibi işin çevresine ilişkin faktörlerden oluşan dışsal doyumlarının daha düşük olduğu sonucuna varıldı.

Aim: The aim of this study was to determine the job satisfaction of surgical nurses and the factors that affect job satisfaction. Material and Method: The research was a descriptive and cross-sectional study. The sample size was 474 surgery nurses who work at a University Hospital. Personal information form and "Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale" were used in the research. Data evaluated by Kruskall-Wallis and Mann Whitney U test. Results: It was determined that the average age of surgical nurses was 33.38 ± 7.51, 65.6% of them chose occupation voluntarily and 50.8% of them were partially satisfied with their work envi-ronment. The average job satisfaction score of the surgery nurses were found as general satisfaction (3.11±0.56), internal satisfaction (3.28±0.55), external satisfaction (2. 86 ± 0.69 Age, gender, marital status, education level, working experience, working type, place of work, choose the profession willingly, satisfaction from the work environment, weekly working hours and so on. were found affecting factors the jobsatisfaction of the surgery nurses. Conclusion: As a result of this study, it was found that the job satisfaction of surgical nurses was moderate. The intrinsic satisfaction of the surgical nurses arising from factors relating to intrinsic qualities of the job such as success, appreciation, the possibility of advancement and promotion and the responsibility of the job was high, while the extrinsic satisfaction arising from factors relating to the working environment such as the nature of their experience, the manager-work relationships with their colleagues and working conditions were lower.
