Moğol bakiyesi İlhanlılara dair Memlûk kaynaklarında pek çok malumat vardır. Karatay el-Izzî el-Haznedârî (ö. 708/1308)’nin Târîhu Mecmû΄ı’n-Nevâdiri adlı eseri bu kaynaklardan birisidir. Zeki Velidi Togan’ın İlhanlı tarihine dair önemine atıfta bulunduğu bu eser, Sârim Özbek adlı bir memlûk askerinin hatıralarına genişçe yer verir. Halep kuşatması sırasında Hülagû’nun maiyetine katılan Sârim Özbek, gördüğü, duyduğu ve Hülâgû ile yaptığı konuşmalar eserde yer alır. Bu bilgiler, Moğol istilâlarının başarılı olmasında ve Moğol siyasî-askerî stratejilerine dair birçok soruya cevap mâhiyetindedir. Ayrıca, Moğol ilerleyişini durduran Ayn Câlut Savaşı (1260)’nda icra edilen askerî stratejiye dair de bilgiler verir. Sârim Özbek’in hatıralarından bahisle Moğol siyasî, askerî ve toplumsal yapısına dair bazı tespitler çıkarmak mümkündür. Doğrusu bu hatıralar tarihi dizilere, belgesellere, filmlere konu olabilecek mâhiyette dikkat çekici kayıtlardır.
There are many information in the Mamluk sources about the success of the Mongol invasions. Karatay al-Izzi al-Haznedari (d.708/1308)’s in his book called Târîhu Mecmû΄ı’n-Nevâdiri, we will analyze it in this sense. The mamluk Sârim Ozbak joins to the Hulâgû’s retinue during the siege of Aleppo. The author gives what he sees, hears, and his conversations with Hülâgû.This information opens behind the scenes of the success of the Mongol invasions. It has the nature to answer many questions about Mongolian war strategies. He gives important information for the battle of Ayn Calut. Obviously it contains important information that will shed light on the history of the period. In this information center we will share some of our findings on political, military and social issues.
