Abstract:

Disappointment, generally defined as negative expectations for the future, is one of the major psychological risk factors. The challenges faced by university students during their education life, if they don’t know what to do after graduation, and the fear of unemployment leads to disappointment by negatively affecting their expectations for the future. By studying the students’ level of disappointment, determining the factors that cause is very important in terms of bringing suggestions to students in their look at the future with hope. The aim of this study is to determine the level of disappointment of university students, to reveal whether there is a relationship between job finding hope, business experience and the level of disappointment. Unlike other studies in this study, not only university’s last-class students, but also inter-class students were included in the research. The Department of Economics found that students were at a slight level of disappointment when evaluated the disappointment points found using the "Beck Disappointment Scale". While the level of disappointment found that there was a significant difference in the hope of finding a job and the time of finding a job, there was no significant difference in the gender, in the business experience.
