This study aims to study the impact of robotic coding training prepared for high school students on the learning environment and the mental images of students. In this study, a special method of work was used. The study includes eight high school students. Students designed a training based on teamwork by making a two-wheeled group. Thus, it is aimed at reducing problems with interactive learning during coding and robotics. The LEGO Minsdstorms EV3 Student Education set was used for robotic coding training designed by researchers. For the coding of the robots that are to be obtained from the Lego set, Ardunio-based trail-based software was used. The accuracy of the educational content and the process in the name of the field note was taken to reflect the learning environment to the reader. As a data collection tool, the study used an survey and research journal consisting of two open end questions to determine the students’ mental images of the robot concept. Answers obtained from open end questions are analyzed using content analysis technique and supported by qualitative data obtained from the daily. According to the results obtained, students have seen that they think that their perceptions developed after the robotic coding training, that the robot could have complex structural technologies that could have different tasks such as detection, storage in different environments. It has also found that the given training has a positive impact on the mental images of the concept of the robot. It is recommended to conduct studies on how to design training and learning environments with different software for robotic coding training.
