Araştırmanın amacı; Rehberlik ve Psikolojik Danışma (PDR) bölümünden mezun olan psikolojik danışmanların çalışma durumlarını kariyer uyumluluğu açısından incelemektir. Araştırma nicel araştırma yöntemi ile oluşturulmuştur. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu; 83 kendi alanında görev yapan psikolojik danışman, 88 kendi alanında çalışmayan (hiçbir işte çalışmayan veya PDR dışı alanlarda çalışan) psikolojik danışman ve 118 PDR lisans öğrencisi olmak üzere 18-28 yaş aralığına sahip toplamda 289 kişi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında, Eryılmaz ve Kara (2017) tarafından geliştirilen “Psikolojik Danışmanlar İçin Kariyer Uyumluluğu Ölçeği” ile araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan kişisel bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde “multinomial lojistik regresyon” analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucuna göre; PDR mezuniyeti sonrasında herhangi bir kurumda psikolojik danışman olarak çalışma olasılığının lisans mezuniyetindeki üniversite türünden bağımsız olarak kariyer uyumluluğu puanı arttıkça arttığı gözlemlenmektedir. Bir diğer sonuç ise psikolojik danışman olarak çalışmayan mezunların kariyer uyumluluk puanlarının manidar bir şekilde öğrenci olmaya göre değişmediği gözlemlenmektedir. Ayrıca devlet üniversitesinden mezun olan psikolojik danışmanların, lisans öğrencilerine göre kariyer uyumluluk puanlarında bir fark gözlemlenirken, vakıf üniversitesi mezunlarında bu farka rastlanmamıştır.
The purpose of the research is to study the working conditions of psychological consultants who graduated from the Department of Guidance and Psychological Consultancy (PDR) in terms of career compliance. The research is created by the qualitative research method. The study group consists of 83 psychological consultants working in their own fields, 88 psychological consultants working in their own fields (not working in any field or working in non-PDR fields) and 118 PDR graduate students with a total of 18-28 years of age. In the framework of the research, the personal information form prepared by the researcher has been used with the "Career Compatibility Scale for Psychological Consultants" developed by Eryılmaz and Kara (2017). In the analysis of the data, the "multinomial logistical regression" analysis was carried out. According to the study, the possibility of working as a psychological consultant in any institution after PDR graduation is observed increasing by increasing the score of career compatibility, regardless of the type of university in the bachelor's graduation. Another result is that graduates who do not work as a psychological consultant have not changed their career compliance ratings in a manic way depending on being a student. As well as a difference in career compliance ratings was observed by psychological consultants who graduated from a state university, this difference was not found in graduates from the foundation university.
The aim of this study is to examine the work status of the counselors who graduated from Counseling and guidance department (CGD) in terms of career adaptability. The study was designed in quantitative research methods. The study group of the research consists of total 289 people, whose age range is between 18 and 28, 83 of which work in their own fields as counselors, 88 of which work in other fields or do not work at all, and 118 PDR undergraduate students. Within the scope of the research, Career Adaptability Scale for Psychological Counselors, developed by Eryilmaz and Kara (2017), and personal information form prepared by the researcher were used. Multinomial logistic regression analysis was used for data analysis. The results of the study revealed the following; the possibility of working as a psychological counselor in any institution after graduating from the CGD increases as the career adaptability score increases, regardless of the type of university. Another result is that the career adaptability scores of the graduates who did not work as counselors did not change significantly compared to the scores of undergraduate students. In addition, while it is observed that there was a difference in the career adaptability scores of the counselors who graduated from the state university, there was no difference in the graduates of foundation universities.
