Bu çalışma ile öğrencilerin spor liselerinden beklentileri, beklentilerinin karşılanma derecesinin belirlenmesi ve çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma, 11 spor lisesinde öğrenim gören 354 kadın, 709 erkek olmak üzere toplam 1063 öğrencinin katılımıyla gerçekleşmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak kişisel bilgi formu ve Karapınar 2007 tarafından geliştirilen “Spor Liselerini Tercih Nedenleri ve Mesleki Beklenti Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistiki işlemlerden sonra grupların ortalamaları arasındaki farkları belirlemek için bağımsız gruplar t testi kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin spor liselerinden beklentileri: Spor tesislerinin öğrencilerin ulusal ve uluslararası başarı sağlayabileceği düzeyde olması, spor liselerinin millî sporcuları yetiştirebilecek şekilde organize edilmesi yönünde ortaya çıkmıştır. Beklentilerin karşılanma derecesi incelendiğinde; öğrencilerin spor liselerinden aldıkları eğitimle iyi bir fiziki görünüme kavuştukları fakat spor tesisi ve araç gerecin yetersiz olduğu belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak; spor liselerinin tesis, araç ve gereç sayısı artırılmalıdır. Antrenör, spor araç gereç desteğinin sağlanması için spor federasyonlarıyla işbirliği yapılabilir, öğretim programları öğrenci müsabaka ve antrenman programına göre esnek bir yapıda düzenlenebilir. Hedef branşı kapsayan spor liseleri çoğaltılabilir.
The aim of this study is to determine the expectation and the degree of fullfillment of expectations about the sport high school and to examine in terms of some variables. The study was conducted 354 females end 709 males, a total of 1063 students in 11 different sports schools. "Sports High School Preferences and Occupational Expectation Scale" was used as data collection tool by Karapınar 2007 . In order to determine the differences between the averages of the groups after descriptive statistical procedures, independent groups t test was used. It has been seen that The student’s expectations from sports high schools being the sports centers in a level that students can have national and international success and being organized sports high schools to be able to grow up national athletes. It has been seen that the students have a good physical body as a result of good education in schools but, it has also been seen that the sports centers and equipment aren’t enough in the schools. In conclusion, the help of sports federation should be provided, the lesson plan should be revised according to the students’ training programme, the schools including one branch should be increased the equipment should also be increased.Sports high schools covering the target sport branch can be replicated
