Since the first date of the Covid-19 outbreak in our country, the process has been continued with distance education studies. It is important to investigate how students with autism spectrum disorder benefit from this process due to their personal characteristics. This study aims to examine the experiences of adolescent students with moderate and severe autism spectrum disorder, who have to continue their education through distance education within the scope of Covid-19, through their parents. 8 parents of students with autism spectrum disorder in a special education practice school participated in the study. Phenomenology, a qualitative research method, was preferred in the study. In addition to the demographic variables of the participants (Age, Marital Status, Internet Access, Tool Used, Application Used), the data obtained through the interview technique were collected. The obtained data were analyzed through content analysis. Accordingly, categories were created, and the relationships between categories were obtained from the obtained categories. In other words, the themes of the research were obtained by creating a common meaning of these categories. The research deals with the positive and negative effects of distance education in student and parent aspects. The findings were discussed in relation to the related literature and recommendations were given.
