Metal Esaslı Sandviç Kompozitlerin Balistik Performansının İncelenmesi

Abstract:

Mermi gibi hızlı parçacıkların, karşısında ki bir yapıyı delip geçmesini önlemeye yönelik çalışmalar, ilk çağlardan beri insanlık için süregelen uğraşı olmuştur. Mermi ve delici parçalara karşı zırh tasarımı çalışmaları ilgi odağı olmaya devam etmektedir. Bu amaçla yüzlerce çalışmada onlarca malzeme denenmiştir. Çeşitli yapılar, birçok geometrik varyasyonlar ve formlarda tasarlanmakta, test ortamlarında balistik davranışları ölçülmektedir. Levhalı tasarımlar ağırlıklı olarak alüminyum, seramik ve zırh çeliği levhalarla oluşturulmuşlardır. Ön ve arka destek katmanları olarak bu malzemeler kullanılmıştır. Bazı çalışmalarda, polietilen, fiber, kevlar kumaş gibi malzemelerle bileşik ve kompozit yapılar meydana getirilmiştir. Kompozit yapıların bazılarında, mermi ve delici parçacık yönünü değiştirebilecek farklı geometrik yapılar tasarlanmıştır. Bu sert metal malzemeli yapı, kumaş içine alınarak kolay hareket ve taşınabilirlik ihtiyacı karşılanmaya çalışılmıştır. Bazı çalışmalarda seçilen metal levha malzeme, çeşitli kalınlık ve sıralamalarla test edilmiş, balistik performansları ve darbe etkisine karşı dayanım özellikleri tespit edilmiştir. Bu derleme çalışmasında son yıllarda yapılan çalışmaların bir kısmının özetleri sunulmakta, gelecekte yapılabilecek çalışmalara bir hedef ve perspektif oluşturulmak istenmektedir.

Abstract:

The efforts to prevent rapid particles, such as the bullet, from passing through a structure in front of it, have been a continuous effort for mankind since the early ages. The artillery design work against bullets and decay pieces continues to be the focus of interest. Hundreds of materials have been tested for this purpose. Various structures are designed in many geometric variations and forms, ballistic behaviors are measured in test environments. The sheet designs are made mainly with aluminium, ceramic and arms steel sheets. These materials are used as front and back support layers. In some studies, compound and composite structures have been created with materials such as polyethylene, fiber, kevlar fabric. In some of the composite structures, different geometric structures are designed that can change the direction of the bullet and decoction particles. This hard metal material structure has been tried to meet the need for easy movement and portability by taking into the fabric. In some studies, the metal sheet material selected, tested with a variety of thickness and ranges, ballistic performance and impact resistance properties were identified. In this collection work is presented a summary of some of the studies carried out in recent years, a goal and a perspective for the work that can be carried out in the future.

For this purpose, tens of materials have been tried in hundreds of studies. Various structures are designed in many geometric variations and forms, and ballistic behavior is measured in test environments. Plate designs are predominantly formed with aluminum, ceramic and armor steel plates. These materials are used as the front and back support layers . This hard metal material structure has been tried to meet the need for easy movement and portability by including it in the fabric.In some studies, selected metal sheet materials have been tested with various thicknesses and sequences, ballistic performances have been determined, and impact resistance properties have been determined.In this review article, summaries of some of the studies conducted in recent years are presented, and it is aimed to create a target and perspective for future studies.
