Abstract:

Source: GYEP is a measurement program that continues to the 3rd class of primary schools, which is involved in the learning fields in the Turkish and Mathematical lessons teaching programs for a variety of reasons during the previous educational years and which is aimed at removing the lack of learning in these fields of students who are unable to obtain the achievements determined within this program at a sufficient level, and to support them in the psychosocial field. This study was aimed at the evaluation of mathematical courses specifically within the framework of the 2018-2019 academic year’s first implemented IYEP program and examined the views of class teachers conducting mathematical courses within the framework of IYEP on IYEP mathematical courses and process. The research was carried out at the end of the 2018-2019 spring period and the participants are 86 class teachers who work in the primary schools in the district and district. The research data was collected with an open-end semi-configured interview form developed by the researchers. According to the results of the study, classmates assessed the achievements of mathematics and the activity book as sufficient and accurate but found the time spent for mathematics lessons insufficient. It can be stated that class teachers generally accept and find it efficient.
