In this study, Al-Si/B4C metal matrix composite material was produced by using at powder metallurgy process. Powder samples were prepared in proportion as 5%, 10%, %15 and 20% B4C was added in to Al-%7Si powder mixture. The prepared powder mixtures, cold pressing under 450 MPa argon gas atmosphere 590 oC were finally processed and sintered for 60 minutes. Pressed specimens were investigated hardness and microstructure with microscopy. As a result of experimental studies, the B4C added at the different rates were affected the hardness and microstructure of the materials.
