Abstract:

The most affected by the pressure that the forests saw were the forest trees. The fact that trees are seen as "money" and the attraction of economic value causes the crimes of cutting trees to be the most processed among forest crimes. The country’s conditions and existing laws have made the crime of cutting trees attractive, the contradictory provisions of the current Forest Law No. 6831 and the insufficient punishment have not achieved the desired success in the prevention of the crime. However, the lack of forest protection system also leads to an increase in the crime of cutting trees. In the study, the crimes of cutting trees were investigated in the framework of the general law, the leaves included in the Forest Law were tried to be revealed, the aim was to help implement these leaves while filled.
