Abstract:

The study aims to measure the levels of "Kingdy Bee Syndrome" that women working in four and five-star accommodation companies in the district of Trakya of Turkey and the districts of Kırklareli, Tekirdağ and Edirne and the districts of Istanbul and Çanakkale, which continue to operate only on the European side, and to determine the relations between the demographic characteristics of the relevant women workers and the dimensions of "Kingdy Bee Syndrome". In accordance with the specified purpose, there was not a scale in the literature related to "Queen Bee Syndrome" and its sizes, and the scale related to the subject was developed, the necessary tests were carried out. The scale developed in October 2019 was delivered in the form of the survey form they responded to 134 women who work in Kırklareli (2), Tekirdağ (7), Edirne (2), Çanakkale (3) and Istanbul (12) accommodation enterprises. The data obtained from the survey forms as a result of the analysis was subject to analysis in the SPSS statistical package program. The study found that women employed were negative to women as managers, that they found men more successful in their, that they found it easier to work with men in their, that women managers in their thought that women employed were blocked, and that they did not support more than one female managers in their.
