Abstract:

The use of metaphor is as old as human history. It is more commonly used in some cultures than metaphor in all cultures. The importance of the use of metaphors in psychological counseling in Turkish culture, which has the characteristic of being socially focused, is greater than the importance of individual-centered cultures. One of the important metaphors in our culture, “What” comes in two senses in the positive psychological telkin. The first is that the person sees a mirror model in the story, and the second is that the person finds himself in the story along with the future process. “No” appears as a role-model that tells itself. This study focuses on the positive outcomes of the use of the "No" metaphor as a therapeutic tool in the structure of reality between the consultant and the consultant. Mesnevî’s first 18 beits are related to “Ney” and especially the first beits starts with the “Ney” metafor. In this study, the scan method was used. The word “what” is mostly used for the concepts of separation and love. The maturity of love is connected to the passage of love through the circle of fire and its experience and has been considered a means of education. In Mevlânâ’s philosophy, “No,” was used as a symbol of the human-kamil, the mature man who passed through certain stages. The most important metaphor of "No" is that it is compared to a man who is broken from heaven. It is for a man to be able to return to heaven to be a believer. The conclusion has been made that "Ney" will be a telkin and therapeutic tool in psychological consulting and guidance and that it can be used as a telkin tool in guidance.
