Araştırmanın amacı, spor bilimleri fakültesi öğrencilerinin algıladıkları özyeterlilik ve kontrol odağının girişimcilik niyetine etkisinin incelenmesidir. Bingöl Üniversitesi Spor Bilimleri Fakültesi'nde eğitim alan öğrenciler arasından, kolayda örneklem yöntemi ile gönüllü olarak seçilen 199 kadın ve 255 erkek, toplamda 454 kişi, araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturmuştur. Katılımcılara kişisel bilgi formu ve verilerin toplanması amacıyla “Genel Özyeterlilik Ölçeği”, Akademik Kontrol Odağı Ölçeği” ve “Girişimcilik Niyeti Ölçeği” uygulanmıştır. Normal dağılımı kabul edilen verilerde değişkenler arasındaki ilişki düzeyi Pearson Korelasyon testi kullanılırken, etki durumunu belirlemek için Doğrusal Regresyon testi kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin Genel Özyeterlilik ile kontrol odağı ve girişimcilik niyeti arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişkiler bulunmuştur. Bir diğer bulgu ise araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin özyeterlilik ve kontrol odaklarının sahip oldukları girişimcilik niyetine etkisi istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunmuştur (p<0,05). Buna göre, kurulan modelde kontrol odağı ve özyeterlilik, öğrencilerin girişimcilik niyetlerinin %24'ünü açıklamaktadır. Sonuç olarak, spor bilimleri fakültesi öğrencilerinin özyeterlilik ile kontrol odaklarının yüksek olması girişimcilik niyetini olumlu yönde arttırdığı söylenebilir. Ayrıca öğrencilerin girişimcilik niyetleri açısından genel özyeterlilik ve kontrol odağının önemli bir belirleyici unsur olduğu söylenebilir.
The aim of this research is to examine the effects of perceived self-efficacy and locus of control on entrepreneurial intention of students of the faculty of sports sciences. 199 women and 255 men, 454 people in total, voluntarily selected by convenience sampling method among the students studying at Bingöl University Faculty of Sports Sciences, comprised the sample of the study. “General Self-Efficacy Scale”, Academic Locus of Control Scale” and “Entrepreneurial Intention Scale” were applied to the participants in order to collect personal information form and data. While Pearson Correlation test was used for the correlation level between the variables in the data accepted as normal distribution, linear regression test was used to determine the effect status. Statistically significant relationships were found between students' General Self-Efficacy, locus of control and entrepreneurial intention. Another finding is that the effect of the students' self-efficacy and locus of control on their entrepreneurial intention was found to be statistically significant (p<0.05). Accordingly, locus of control and self-efficacy in the established model explain 24% of students' entrepreneurial intentions. In conclusion, It can be said that the high self-efficacy and locus of control of the students of the faculty of sports sciences increase the entrepreneurial intention positively. In addition, it can be said that general self-efficacy and locus of control are important determinants of students' entrepreneurial intentions.
