Abstract:

It was published in Paris in 1920 under the title "Les Grecs à Smyrne: Nouveaux Témoignages et Sur Leurs Atrocıtés un Document Officel Probant (Paris Kossuth Imprimerie, Paris 1920)." Engin Berber's work was translated from French to Turkish by Rahmi Hussein Ünal. The work was drawn to the representatives of the opposition states gathered in Paris after the First World War, to the European parliamentarians and the press members to show the unhuman real face of Greek propaganda and occupation that the occupied areas cannot be separated from Turkey in terms of geography and population. The book, which is a "contra-propaganda" work, contains the original text and translation. This is an opportunity for the reader to compare. The original text, consisting of sixteen and three pages, was enriched with explanatory notes and images by Engin Berber, who prepared the book. In this framework, the book contains 60 visual features of the Aydin Province Square and Menteşe Sancakes and the "Comparative Graphics" showing the population of the accidents.
