Erken çocukluk, oyunların çocukların eğitiminde önemli bir rol oynadığı bir dönemdir. Bu araştırmada, okul öncesi dönemde okullarda oynanabilecek geleneksel oyunlarla çocuklara sunulabilecek değerlerin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Geleneksel oyunlar, geçmişte çocuklar tarafından oynanmış ve nesilden nesile aktarılarak günümüze kadar gelmiş, çocuğun iletişim kurmasını sağlayan işbirliğine dayanan oyunlardır. Bu araştırmanın amacı; okul öncesi dönemde okulda oynanabilecek geleneksel oyunlarda kazandırılabilecek değerleri ortaya çıkarmaktır. Bu çalışma nitel bir durum çalışmasıdır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma ile; okulda oynanabilecek 8 geleneksel oyun Milli Eğitimin belirlediği değerler açısından ele alınarak, betimsel analiz yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. 8 geleneksel oyunun oynanışı gereği; 8’inde “sorumluluk”, 8’inde “saygı”, 4’ünde “empati”, 3’ünde “adalet”, 3’ünde “yardımlaşma”, 2’sinde “özgüven”, 2’sinde “doğruluk ve dürüstlük”, 2’sinde “dayanışma”, 1’inde “cesaret”, 1’inde “özgürlük”, 1’inde “nazik olma”, 1’inde “sevgi” değerinin yer aldığı ve bu okulda oynanabilecek 8 geleneksel oyun yoluyla bu değerlerin kazandırılabileceği ortaya konmuştur.
Early childhood is a period in which games play an important role in the education of children. This study aims to explore the values that can be presented to children with traditional games that can be played in school in the pre-school period. Traditional games are games that have been played by children in the past and transmitted from generation to generation to today, and are based on cooperation that enables the child to communicate. The purpose of this research is to reveal the values that can be gained in the traditional games that can be played in the school in the pre-school period. This work is a conditional work. The method of document examination is used in the research methods. With the research; 8 traditional games that can be played in the school were analyzed by the visual analysis method, taking into account the values determined by the National Education. It has been found that 8 traditional games are played by: 8 “responsibility”, 8 “responsibility”, 4 “empathy”, 3 “justness”, 3 “help”, 2 “self-confidence”, 2 “righteousness and honesty”, 2 “resistance”, 1 “crisis”, 1 “freedom”, 1 “being narcissistic”, 1 “love” values are included and these values can be gained through 8 traditional games that can be played in this school.
