Bu çalışmanın amacı okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin rekreasyon faaliyetlerine katılımındaki fayda ve yaşam doyum düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmaya İstanbul Anadolu Yakası bölgesinde görev yapan Tuzla, Pendik, Kartal, Sultanbeyli, Maltepe, Ataşehir, Beykoz, Kadıköy, Üsküdar, Ümraniye ilçelerinden 130 okul öncesi öğretmeni gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan kişisel bilgi formu, Ho (2008) tarafından geliştirilen ve Türkçe uyarlaması Akgül, Karaküçük ve Ertüzün (2018) tarafından yapılan “Rekreasyon Fayda Ölçeği (RFÖ)”, Diener, Emmons, Larsen ve Griffin (1985) tarafından geliştirilen ve Türkçe uyarlaması Köker (1991) ve Yetim (1991) tarafından yapılan “Yaşam Doyum Ölçeği (YDÖ)” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi, SPSS 24 Paket programında değerlendirilerek tanımlayıcı istatistik, t-Testi ve Pearson Korelasyon testleri uygulanarak anlamlılık düzeyi (p<.05) olarak alınmıştır. Araştırmanın bulgularında, t-Testi sonuçlarına göre katılımcıların RFÖ ve YDÖ “medeni hal” değişkenine göre anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmezken (p>0.05) “aktif spor yapma” durumlarına göre RFÖ ve YDÖ toplam puanlarında anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir (p>.05). Korelasyon testi sonuçlarında, “yaş” ve “aylık gelir düzeyi” değişkenlerine göre RFÖ toplam puan ve alt boyutlarında anlamlı ilişki tespit edilmezken, yaşam doyum düzeyleri ile düşük düzeyde ve pozitif yönde bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir (p<.05). Benzer şekilde “meslek yılı” değişkenine göre RFÖ toplam puan ve alt boyutlarında anlamlı ilişki bulunmamış (p>.05), yaşam doyum düzeyleri düşük düzeyde ve pozitif yönde bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir (p<.05). Araştırmanın sonucunda okul öncesi öğretmenlerin medeni hal durumunda rekreasyon faaliyetlerinden fayda ve yaşam doyum düzeylerinde farklılık düzeyinde olmadığı, yaş ve aylık gelirin artmasıyla yaşam doyum düzeyinin de arttığı ve meslek yılının rekreasyon faaliyetlerine yönelik fayda oluşturmadığı fakat yaşam doyum düzeyleriyle paralel olarak ilerlediğini söyleyebiliriz.
The aim of this study is to explore the relationship between the benefits of the participation of pre-school teachers in recreational activities and the levels of life satisfaction. The research was carried out by 130 pre-school teachers from the districts of Tuzla, Pendik, Kartal, Sultanbeyli, Maltepe, Ataşehir, Beykoz, Kadıköy, Üsküdar, Ümraniye, which served in the Istanbul Anadolu Square region. Personal information form prepared by researchers as a data collection tool, developed by Ho (2008) and used by Turkish adaptation by Akgül, Karaküçük and Ertüzün (2018) "Recreation Benefit Scale (RFÖ)", developed by Diener, Emmons, Larsen and Griffin (1985) and Turkish adaptation by Köker (1991) and Yetim (1991) "Life Doyum Scale (YDÖ)" made. The analysis of the data was taken as the level of significance (p<.05) by applying identifying statistics, T-Test and Pearson Correlation tests, evaluated in the SPSS 24 Package Program. In the findings of the study, according to the t-Test results, there was no significant difference between the participants according to the RFÖ and YDÖ "cultural state" variable (p>0.05) and a significant difference in the total points of the RFÖ and YDÖ according to the "active sporting" conditions (p>.05). In the correlation test results, a meaningful relationship was not detected in the total points and subdimensions of the RFÖ according to the "age" and "monthly income level" variables, while a relationship was detected in a low level and in a positive direction with the life satisfaction levels (p<.05). Similarly, according to the "professional year" variable, there was no meaningful relationship between the total score and sub-dimensions of the RFÖ (p>.05), the life satisfaction levels were found a relationship in a low level and in a positive direction (p<.05). According to the study, pre-school teachers are not at a level of difference in the benefits of recreational activities in the civil state and the level of life satisfaction, the age and monthly income increases the level of life satisfaction and the professional year does not provide benefits for recreational activities but progresses parallel to the level of life satisfaction.
The goal of this work, examining of relationship between life satisfaction level and benefits of participation to recreation activities. In this examination, total 130 pre-school teachers participated as a volunteer, from districts Tuzla, Pendik, Kartal, Sultanbeyli, Maltepe, Ataşehir, Beykoz, Kadıköy, Üsküdar, Ümraniye ; from Istanbul city. In order to collect data for this examination, personel data form which prepared by researchers, “Recreation Benefit Scale (RBC) ” which developed by HO(2008) and adapted in Turkish by Akgül, Karaküçük and Ertüzün; “Life Satisfaction Scale (LSS)” which developed by Diener, Emmons, Larern and Griffin( 1985) and adapted in Turkish by Köker (1991) and Yetim (1991); these total 3 methods have been used. Analyzing of these datas, evaluated in SPSS 24 programme by using T- test and Pearson Correlation tests ; by getting meaningfulness level as (p<.05). According to results of T-Test, any difference (p>0.05) is not found between RBC and LSS according to marital status of participants. According to correlation test results, any relationship is found in RBC total points according to “age” and “monthly income level” variables. And accourding to same variables ; positive relationship is found in low level (p<.05). By the way, any relationship is not found according to “year of profession” variable on RBC total point and accourding to same variable (p>0.05), positive relationship is found in low level (p<.05). As a result of this examination, marital status is not effect recreation activities benefits and life satisfaction level. İn the meantime, it’s observed that during the increase of age and monthly income , the level of life satisfaction is increasing . And the year of profession is not effect on participation of recreation activities on positive way but we can say it’s growing parallel with life satisfaction level.
