Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının fen öğretimine yönelik öz-yeterlik inanç düzeylerini geliştirmede araştırma soruşturmaya dayalı öğrenme yaklaşımının etkisinin belirlenmesidir. Ayrıca araştırmada mezun olunan lise türü ve cinsiyet, bağımsız değişkenler olarak ele alınmıştır. Araştırma, Gazi Üniversitesi, Gazi Eğitim Fakültesi, İlköğretim Bölümü, Fen Bilgisi Öğretmenliği Anabilim Dalı üçüncü sınıflardan rastgele oluşturulmuş ve birer sınıf deney ve kontrol grubu olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışma her iki grupta da araştırmacı tarafından gerçekleştirilmiş ve 2004-2005 Eğitim-Öğretim Yılı Bahar Döneminde Fen Bilgisi Uygulama Laboratuarı dersinde uygulanmıştır. Çalışma grubunda yer alan öğrencilerin sayısı toplam 95\'dir. Bu öğrencilerin, 48 tanesi deney grubunda 4The aim of this research is to determine the effect of inquiry-based science instruction approach on the development of self-efficacy belief levels intended for science teaching of secondary science education teacher candidates. Furthermore, the type of high school from which the candidate graduated and gender were considered as independent variables in the research. The research included two 3rd grade classes, which were chosen randomly and determined as experimental and control groups, of Gazi University, Faculty of Education, Elementary Education, Department of Secondary Science Education. The study was carried on by the researcher in both groups and performed in Secondary Science Practice Laboratory course during 2004 – 2005 educational year spring term.
