Abstract:

Bu araştırmada öykü temelli öğrenmenin dördüncü sınıf Fen ve Teknoloji dersinde uygulanmasının öğrenci ve öğretmenler üzerine etkisinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın amacını gerçekleştirmek amacıyla örnek olay yönteminden faydalanılmıştır. Araştırma ilköğretim dördüncü sınıfa devam eden A ve B şubelerinde öğrenim gören 48 öğrenci üzerinde yapılmıştır. Araştırmada etkisi araştırılan öykü temelli öğrenme Fen ve Teknoloji dersinin “canlılar dünyasını gezelim-tanıyalım canlılar ve hayat” öğrenme alanında uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada veri elde etmek amacıyla öğretmen ve öğrencilerle odak grup görüşmeleri yapılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre ÖTÖ öğrencilerin akademik başarılarını artırmakta öğrencilerin öğrenme sürecini sahiplenmesini sağlamakta ve öğrenci motivasyonunu artırmaktadır.

Abstract:

This study aims to identify the impact of the application of story-based learning in the fourth class Science and Technology course on students and teachers. The method is used to the purpose of the study. The research was conducted on 48 students who studied in the A and B branches continuing to the fourth class. The influence of the research was studied on the story-based learning Science and Technology course applied in the field of learning "Travel the world of living-recognition of living beings and life". For the purpose of obtaining data in the research, focused group conversations with teachers and students were conducted. According to the findings obtained, the ITU ensures that students possess the learning process by increasing their academic achievements and increasing the student motivation.
