Bu araştırmanın amacı ücretli öğretmenlik uygulamasına dikkat çekmek ve bu uygulamada karşılaşılan sorunları derinlemesine incelemektir. Bu doğrultuda araştırmacılar “Ücretli öğretmenlik nedir?”, “Ücretli öğretmenlikte yaşanan sorunlar nelerdir?” ve “Ücretli öğretmenlik uygulamasında karşılaşılan sorunların üstesinden gelmek için neler yapılmalıdır?” sorularına yanıt aramışlardır. Bu araştırma nitel araştırma desenlerinden olgu bilim deseni kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Çalışma grubu amaçlı örneklem yöntemine göre seçilmiş olup halen ücretli öğretmenlik yapan 16 ücretli öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Veriler yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği ile toplanmıştır. Toplanan veriler betimsel analiz yöntemi ile çözümlenmiştir. Buna göre katılımcılar ücretli öğretmenlerin sorunlarını maaş, ötekileştirilme, özlük hakkı, önemsenmemek ve sigorta şeklinde sıralamışlardır. Ayrıca katılımcılar yaşanan sorunların çözümüne ilişkin maaş ve hak iyileştirmeleri, adil atama yapılması, gerekli itibarın kazandırılması ve destek ihtiyacı gibi birtakım önerilerde bulunmuşlardır. Elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda araştırmacılar, ücretli öğretmenlik uygulamasının sorunları üzerinde daha çok durulması gerektiği sonucuna ulaşmıştır.
The purpose of this research is to draw attention to the paid teaching practice and to thoroughly explore the problems encountered in this practice. In this direction, researchers "What is paid teaching?“What are the problems in paid teaching?” And "What should be done to overcome the problems faced in the paid teaching practice?" They searched for answers to their questions. This research has been done using the factual scientific designs of the quality research patterns. The work group is selected according to the sample method and is composed of 16 paid teachers who are still paying teaching. The data is collected using a semi-configured interview technique. The data collected is analyzed by visual analysis method. According to this, the participants ranked the problems of paid teachers in the form of wages, privatization, property rights, non-interest and insurance. Participants also presented a number of suggestions on the solution of the problems, such as wages and rights improvements, fair appointment, the gain of the necessary reputation and the need for support. According to the findings obtained, the researchers have concluded that paid teaching practice should be more focused on the problems.
