So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

OBEZİTE VE İSTİHDAM: TÜRKİYE ÖRNEĞİ
2021

Abstract:

OBESITY AND EMPLOYMENT: EVIDENCE FROM TURKEY
2021
Author:
Abstract:

Obesity is a devastating health condition that can harm employment. We are exploring the effects of obesity on employment by taking advantage of the surveys and using two different methods, including entropial balance, which is a linear possibility model and a prominent matching method. The Turkish Health Research represents adult individuals in Turkey and has been performed every two years since 2008. The survey is carried out in the form of data gathering. In this study, we study the differences in the relationship between obesity and employment according to gender. In addition, the correlation between obesity and employment was not strengthened between 2008 and 2016. Imaginary analyses show that only 16 percent of obese women and 70 percent of obese men are employed. Both methods indicate that obesity reduces women’s employment. However, there is no statistically meaningful relationship for male employment. While obesity significantly reduces women’s employment for all age groups except the young population, the results for men’s employment do not provide a meaningful relationship. Over the years, the terms of obesity interaction indicate that the negative effect of obesity on employment is weakened.

Obesity and Employment: Evidence From Turkey
2021

Abstract:

Obesity is a devastating health condition that may harm employment. We investigate the impact of obesity on employment by utilizing five waves of Turkey Health Surveys and executing two different methods, including a linear probability model and a prominent matching method, entropy balancing. Turkey Health Surveys are representative of Turkey’s adult population and have been conducted biennially since 2008. The surveys involve data collection using face to face interviews. In this study, we examine the differences in the relationship between obesity and employment by gender. We also shed light on whether the correlation between obesity and employability strengthened or weakened between 2008 and 2016. Descriptive analyses show that only 16% of obese females are employed while 70% of obese males are employed. Both methods suggest that obesity reduces employment for females. However, for males, there is no statistically significant relationship. Obesity significantly reduces female employment for all age groups except for younger cohorts, while for male employment, the results do not appear to provide a meaningful relationship. The significant interaction terms for obesity by year suggest that the negative effect of obesity on employment weakened overtime in Turkey.
