Abstract:

Football is one of the sports branches with the largest audience in the world. Each country creates their own leagues and brings their seasons to life. At the end of the season, a team completes the league as a champion and falls into a lower league as much as the number determined by the federation at the beginning of the league. There are some situations that negatively affect the quality of the league in world leagues. The most important of these situations is the early determination of the champion team of the league or the teams that will be relegated to a lower league. Because this situation negatively affects the pursuit and pleasure of the leagues. In this study, an alternative scoring system has been developed, which includes the circuits developed by the researcher in the scoring. In this alternative scoring system, it is stated that there will be no early finals in the league's top race or falling pot. According to this theory the examples of Turkey 2017-18 and 2018-19 football season league tables giving detailed study. Suggestions of alternative points system in Turkey is a priority in the implementation of the 3rd and 2nd League and is applied to the top league in the next year. At the same time, it has been recommended to introduce this application around the world.
