Bu nitel araştırmada, Türkiye'de 1926 ile 2018 yılları arasında uygulanan Ortaokul Matematik Dersi Öğretim Programlarında yer alan problem çözmeye ilişkin açıklamalar, sosyomatematiksel normlar çerçevesinde incelenmektedir. Araştırmada doküman incelemesi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın veri kaynağını oluşturan on Matematik Dersi Öğretim Programı’ nda yer alan problem çözmeye ilişkin açıklamalar veri kodlama formuna yazılmış ve kodlanmıştır. Kodlar anlamlı birimler halinde sınıflandırılarak ve problem çözmeye ilişkin literatürde yer alan sosyomatematiksel normlar dikkate alınarak elde edilen kategoriler doğrultusunda inceleme yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda Matematik Dersi Öğretim Programlarında problem çözme aşamalarının her birine ilişkin sosyomatematiksel normun yer aldığı, en fazla sosyomatematiksel normun problem çözme aşamalarından ‘problemi çözme’ adımında ortaya konulduğu belirlenmiştir. Problem çözmeye ilişkin beklenen sosyomatematiksel normlara işaret eden açıklamalara en fazla yer veren öğretim programlarının 1949, 2005 ve 2013 yılı programları olduğu görülmüştür. Matematik Dersi Öğretim Programlarında genelde problem çözme becerisini destekleyici normların oluşmasını sağlayan açıklamaların yer aldığı, sadece 2018 yılı Matematik Dersi Öğretim Programı’ nda bulunmadığı belirlenmiştir.
The study was designed with document analysis method. Explanations on problem solving in the ten Mathematics Curriculums, which constitutes the data source of the research, were written in the data coding form and coded. The codes were classified into meaningful units and analyzed in accordance with the categories obtained by considering the sociomathematical norms in the literature on problem solving. As a result of the research, it was determined that the sociomathematical norms related to the problem solving steps are included in the curricula documents, and the most sociomathematical norms are revealed in the 'problem solving' step, which is one of the problem solving stages. It was seen that the curriculums that included the explanations indicating the expected sociomathematical norms regarding problem solving were the 1949, 2005 and 2013 curricula documents. It has been determined that there are explanations that provide the formation of norms that support problem solving skills in the curricula documents, but they are not only included in the 2018 Curriculum.
