Purpose: In this study, Tuta absoluta (Meyrick) (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae) preferred to leave eggs, the effect of flying oils released from the guest plant as a result of herbivor insect damage was studied. Materials and Methods: Macrosiphum euphorbiae (Thomas) (Hemiptera: Aphididae) and Trialeurodes vaporariorum Westwood (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae) are compared with the number of eggs left by T. absoluta. Also, the number of eggs left by T. absoluta to the mechanically damaged tomato plants in its compound leaves has been assessed. Results: Clean plants (15,05 eggs/wheat) used as the control group, the number of left eggs is greater than the plants that are mixed with other harmful substances. After the control plants, the most left eggs plant is M. euphorbiae’s composite leaf with 5 adult individuals (7,48 eggs/wheat). At least eggs (3.79 eggs/wheat) are left in the washed tomato plants with 40-50 adults per composite leaf of T. vaporariorum. In the M. euphorbiae and washing plants, there were plants that washed with at least 15 adult individuals per composite leaf (4,34 eggs/wheat) left eggs. Furthermore, according to the washing plants with M. euphorbiae, the T. vaporariorum was found to have less eggs left to the washing plants. However, the number of left eggs has been shown to decrease in reverse proportion with the increase in the amount of contamination in tomato plants. Furthermore, the number of mechanically damaged compound leaves has increased and the number of eggs left by T. absoluta has decreased. Result: As a result, it has been determined that the flight oils released from the guest plants as a result of the damage caused by herbivor insects have the potential to be used in the fight against T. absoluta.
