Abstract:

The subject of this article is to create the relationship between the graduates of the Communication Faculty and the Erzurum local press with each other. The employment problem that emerged with the fact that communication faculties have recently started to give more than necessary graduates is two problems that are still unresolved by the local press and the lack of qualified elements. The main objective of such a study is to reveal the effects of the Communication Faculty in Erzurum on the Erzurum local press and to question the positions of the Communication Faculty graduates in the local press. The study first attended the problem of the qualified elements of the local press and local press, then briefly focused on the employment shortage of the communication faculty. In the research section of the study, the officials of the newspapers that daily publish in Erzurum (Pusula, Nation's Voice, Günebakış, Yenigün) and the graduates of the communication faculty working in these newspapers, as well as the communications academics, had a deep interview. In light of the discussions made, the Erzurum local press experienced a lack of communication faculty graduate element, but the communication faculty graduates not watched the local press warmly. With the results of the talks, a number of solutions were proposed.
