Abstract:

Fossil fuels are used extensively in the industrial production sector, electricity generation and transportation. The use of fossil fuels increases the greenhouse gas density and constitutes one of the most important causes of global warming. In order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, significant improvements have been made in transportation technologies in recent years and alternative policies have been adopted by country's administrations. In this direction, the supply and demand of electric vehicles increase day by day. In this study, the criteria that are effective in the selection of electric vehicles are discussed and evaluated. Multi-criteria decision making techniques were used to evaluate and rank the criteria. ENTROPY and CRITIC methods were used as objective weighting techniques, AHP and WINGS methods were used as subjective weighting techniques. Evaluations were made for 8 different criteria of electric vehicles, and the price criterion was found to be the most important criteria. It was determined that there were differences between the methods in the ranking of the criteria other than the most important criteria.
