The control architectures of active suspension systems are usually made up of two cycles, the internal cycle and the external cycle controls. In order to suppress the effects of the road-driven disruptor, the external cycle controller allows for the calculation of the optimal target force. The internal cycle controller is also used to obtain the nearest real power from the electro-hydraulic accelerator to the desired power. The high degree of inexactitude of the electro-hydraulic accelerator dynamics threatens the internal cycle controller design.
