Abstract:

This research was planned and carried out in order to determine the belief dispositions, life experiences and experiences of young people from different faculties who received university education with different score types. Qualitative method and phenomenological model were adopted in the research. The data were obtained from face-to-face interviews with a semi-structured interview form created by the researchers considering the elements of belief. In the analysis of the obtained data, descriptive analysis and content analysis techniques, which are among the qualitative data analysis methods, were used. The research was carried out on 20 students, 11 female and 9 male, between the ages of 20-30 from various faculties. Headings were made within the framework of the themes that emerged as a result of the answers received. According to this, it has been observed that there is a tendency to feel belonging to the belief in the society in the university students and theology students who experience a period of inquiry and accounting in the theme that appears as belief in the axis of conservatism, while the tendency of not belonging to the common belief in the society stands out. In the emerging theme of the guidance of the faith in the lives of the youth, it was concluded that the youth resorted to the guidance of religion to the extent of the strength of their faith. It has been found that in the theme of belief movements and youth, the way of believing and their view of the society affect their approach to the movements, and in the theme of belief and conflict, the conflict increases as the level of knowledge increases. In the face of ontological questions, it has been observed that young people take refuge in religion or put off thinking. In the theme of social media sharing and the effects of videos on the way of believing, it has been found that young people exhibit behaviors towards watching videos that overlap with their current way of believing.
