Greta Thunberg sayesinde, iklim değişikliği sorunu dünya çapında ana gündem maddelerinden biri haline gelmiştir. Bu konudan hareketle, sorun odaklı gençlik yazını açısından etkinci Thunberg’in hikayesi ile K. Boie’nin eseri arasında konusal bağlar kurulmaya çalışılmıştır. Gençlik yazınının bir alt türü olarak sınıflandırılan sorun odaklı gençlik yazınında çocuk ve gençlerin dünyalarında karşılaştıkları çeşitli problemler, genellikle roman türünde işlenir. Bu çalışmada, Almanya’da çocuk ve gençlik yazınının önemli yazarlarından Kirsten Boie’nin “Jeder Tag ein Happening” adlı ergenlik romanı incelenip, sorun odaklı gençlik yazını açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Almanya’da yerel bir çevre sorununu işleyen bu roman çerçevesinde gençlerin çevrelerindeki sorunları bir alt-kültür oluşturarak çözmeye iten nedenler irdelenmiştir. Ayrıca günümüzde dünyaca ün kazanan genç iklim etkincisi Greta Thunberg’in3 başlattığı küresel ısınma konusundaki farkındalık oluşturma çabasının toplumdaki yankılarına da değinilmiştir.
Thanks to Greta Thunberg, the problem of climate change has become one of the main matters of the global agenda. By moving from this topic, a problem-focused youth book has been attempted to establish thematic links between the story of the active Thunberg and the work of K. Boie. The various problems that children and young people encounter in the worlds in the problem-focused youth writing, which is classified as a subtype of youth writing, are often treated in the type of novel. In this study, a major writer of children and youth in Germany, Kirsten Boie’s adolescence novel “Jeder Tag ein Happening” was studied and evaluated in terms of the problem-focused youth writing. In this novel, which deals with a local environmental problem in Germany, the reasons for young people to solve the problems around them are discussed by creating a sub-cultural. It has also been pointed out to the highlights in the community of the efforts to raise awareness about global warming initiated by today’s world-famous young climate activist Greta Thunberg3.
Thanks to Greta Thunberg, the problem of climate change has become one of the main agenda items worldwide. From this aspect, it was attempted to establish the subject ties between K. Boie's novel “Jeder Tag ein Happening” and the story of the activist Thunberg in terms of problem-oriented youth literature. In the problem-oriented youth literature, various problems that children and youngsters face in their worlds are generally dealt with in the novel genre. In this context, novel can be considered as a means of values education with the socially responsible actions and initiatives of youth for their own problems. Within the framework of Boie's novel, which deals with a local environmental problem in Germany, the reasons that lead to the solution of the problems of youngsters around them by forming a subculture are analyzed. The repercussions of global warming, initiated by the globally renowned climate activist Greta Thunberg, were also addressed.
