Abstract:

This study examined the views of pre-school parents on pandemic, education, technology use and family interaction during the COVID-19 pandemic process. In this study, the model of phenomoniology (phenomoniology) was used as a quality research model. The data of the research was collected in the 2020-2021 educational year, a time period in which education-education in Turkey is fully online for all stages. The study included the child, the Burdur province center and 52 pre-school guardians continuing to the state schools in their districts. The research data was collected in electronic environments due to social isolation caused by the pandemic. The semi-configured conversation form created by researchers was used as a data collection tool. The data is analyzed using the content analysis method. According to the findings obtained from the research, parents and children are concerned about pandemic, parents are most concerned about the use of education, health and technology, both parents and children are increasing the use of technology in the pandemic process, parents are monitoring the developments related to pandemic more television and telephone/tablet at least once a day, the majority of preschool children are regularly participating in remote education activities provided by the Ministry of National Education, parents see remote education activities necessary, parents are applying to source books and web-based educational environments for the purpose of supporting education, children are generally willing to return to school, the pandemic period is very negative and the result is very negative.
