Abstract:

The ideology guides the structure and political order of the society in which it is lived. The film can play an important role in the transmission of the ideology. People are often in defence when watching a series or movie. The spectator who is watching a comedy film and believes he’s just laughing and having fun doesn’t even realize that he’s influenced by an ideological device. In the study, using the method of "ideological film criticism" the "Organized Things" film, dialogue and scenes were subjected to analysis. While not too long, the mass of violence and the unusual methods used are remarkable. The intense demonstration and normalization of violence could lead the spectator to see himself weak against the world. While good people are often shown in the movie facing big problems, bad people’s representations that live a easy and prosperous life have been overwhelmed. When we consider evil in the context of the problem, it feels the existence of the idea that being good cannot bring happiness and peace to man. The idea that being educated and equipped is not an advantage in social life is also described in some sections. This kind of message of the film adds to the audience that information and culture are not a determining element in determining the social hierarchy.
