Bu çalışma, 2012-2013 yıllarında Atatürk Üniversitesi (Erzurum) yerleşkesinde odunsu bitkilerde bulunan zararlı böcek türlerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda, Insecta sınıfının 4 takımına bağlı 23 familyasına ait 47 zararlı böcek türü tespit edilmiştir. Bunlar içerisinde en önemli zararlı böcek türlerinin; Cryptomyzus ribis (Linnaeus, 1758), Chionaspis salicis (Linnaeus, 1758), Lepidosaphes ulmi (Linnaeus, 1758), Taylorilygus apicalis (Fieber, 1861), Kleidocerys resedae (Panzer, 1797), Gastrodes grossipes (De Geer, 1773), Leucoma salicis (Linnaeus, 1758), Rhyacionia buoliana (Denis and Schiffermüller, 1775), Diplolepis fructuum (Rübsaamen, 1896) ve Fenusella hortulana (Klug, 1818) olduğu belirlenmiştir.
