Abstract:

With the rapid development of information technology, our modern ways of communication and information transfer have undergone changes. Electronic enviroment pioneers the emergence and becoming widespread of these communication ways. In this research, focuses on interactive e-cover design, which forms the title and proposition of this research, based on the concept of interaction, which is a result of technology and multi-media forms. In the examinations made within the scope of this research, it was seen that most of the e-book cover designs prepared for preschool students did not have sufficient interactivity. By choosing interactive e-book, which have been prepared and put into use in digital media by various publishers for preschool children, interactive e-cover design has been created for these e-books. By preparing a scale to determine the expediency of the interactive e-cover design created for preschool children and whether they are successful in terms of interaction or not, expert academicians have been asked for their assessments. In the light of the data obtained, it has been concluded that these interactive e-cover design, which are both appropriate for children’s level and engaging and support their creativity, are fit for the purpose and successful in terms of interaction.
