Abstract:

This study aims to enable social information teachers candidates to integrate web 2.0 technologies within the framework of IT (Information and Communication Technologies) into social information courses. The research was carried out with 31 teachers candidates who were trained in the Faculty of Social Information of the University of Muallim Rıfat on December 7. The research model is used. In the analysis of the data, the visual analysis method is included. The research’s data collection tools consist of semi-configured forms and videos in social media records aimed at the products of the teacher candidates. At the beginning of the period, in the first application, only 6% of teachers candidates were aware of the programs. In the second application, 39% of teaching candidates in the third application, and now 79% have knowledge and skills about all the programs. It also reflects the knowledge and skills of the teachers candidates on this subject in the digital products they produce during the process. As a result, it can be said that the purpose of action research has been achieved with success. With this result, the teacher training process may be recommended to teachers candidates to acquire digital skills in a practical way.
