Abstract:

In the world and in Turkey, the importance of health tourism, which is the popular service sector in recent years, has increased rapidly, economically. The need to receive health care has been shaped according to the changing desires and needs of people, and some changes have occurred as a result of technological developments in medicine. In Turkey, health tourism is a developing country; a service sector. In Turkey, tourism has varied according to some internal and external dynamics such as global terrorism. Turkey has set strategic objectives to the sector and develops effective policies in accordance with its resources and capabilities. Health tourism, which is important in the growth of foreign capital, is for a country; in the presentation of the health sector as a currency source, the door opened to the world market. The subject of the study is the identification of health tourism, which is a high and private market of individual spending, its presence in Turkey and its contribution to the country’s economy. To explore the elements, possibilities and potential of health tourism in our country, the aim of trying to keep light on the initiatives that will bring this situation forward, makes the issue important. The information tools that form the framework of qualitative research, which form the basis of the theoretical study, the data obtained from the scan of the industry-related literature, the method of tubing, are evaluated in an objective approach.
