Football and futsal are Modalities of collective sport, these have some particular features to the game that the Stand out of the individual sports. Analytical method the skills are trained outside of the game context. The global method is to develop and deliver learning game via the game itself. Aim: To analyze the effectiveness of two methods of teaching, the analytical method and comprehensive method, which have been most widely used and showing greater benefits within the sport football and futsal. Method: inclusion of studies verifying the use of sports teaching methods, comparison of methods of teaching soccer, which methods suitable for the teaching of football. Deleting books, chapters of books, scientific articles, articles referring to physical training methods. The searches were made in the database of the CAPES. Result: found 25 publications, of those 20 were excluded and the course of the work has been added 6 references. Discussion: studies relating the systemic and comprehensive method on divergent and convergent procedural knowledge. Global method promotes the learning of team sports, from initiation to specialization. Two found that the methodology based on the new trends of sports, improve decision making, skill, overall performance, and promotes greater efficiency in the teaching process. Conclusion: it can be concluded that appropriate methodologies for the teaching of football and futsal are vast and upcoming studies on teaching methodology tends to point the global method as a tool for teaching of team sports in general sense.
