Abstract:

Ramazan Dikmen writes stories with thesis as a writer with an Islamic understanding of art.The texts in his single story book Muhayyer contain views from his own life. The stories in the first chapter of the book, which gives the author's storyteller identity are about the love that was experienced in the past but the suffering and memories of which continue due to the impossibility of reunion. The reason for the impossibility of love is the personality differences between two people and the one-sided love. Love, which we come across with the same content in many of the stories, gains its true meaning when the reunion is not realized. Since the author wants to highlight a feeling rooted in our inner world like love, he leaves his heroes anonymous in many stories. Love is a value that is lived completely in a platonic way in the writer's stories and can break the routine of life. Our aim in this study, in which we follow the thematic analysis path, is to identify the obstacles that love, which is the main theme of the stories in the section titled Muhayyer, Who Hit the Shore, encounters on the way to the impossible.
