Abstract:

This study aims to reveal the trends in postgraduate studies related to children's literature in class education science. For this purpose, the meta-sensation method has been used. The interpretation and evaluation of the quality data is based on the study, the study is addressed with a quality approach and the results are deepened, similarities and differences have been revealed. In the collection of data, the Higher Education (YÖK) National Thesis Center data base was used. The research included 32 theses, including 31 master's and 1 doctor's, which were conducted between 2010 and 2020. In the framework of the research method, the process and findings have been detailed. The research has found that the majority of the studies are related to the education of values under the book/text review, focus on the method of document review, content and visual analysis are often used in data analysis. It is determined that in ensuring the validity and reliability of the studies, it is focused on direct citations and expert opinion, and that most of the studies provide results for the story/book review/evaluation. In the data on the results of the studies, the recommendations on the content of children's literature products have come to the forefront. Recommendations for teachers, parents and educators to gain awareness about children's books are also included.
