Abstract:

The game has been a natural and inseparable element of human individual and society throughout human history. As in the entire history of mankind, the individual has a game in all periods of life. Because it is an activity with both individual and social dimensions in terms of its functions. The game is an important tool in the socialization of the child, in preparation for adulthood roles, in recognition of life. The game also plays important roles in evaluating adult individuals' leisure time, inining and developing their existing individual and social relationships, and in establishing new friendships. In general, play is one of the basic means of the transmission of social values and norms, languages and symbols, embedded attitudes and habits, cultural elements to individuals. There are plenty of games to say countless depending on all these functions. It is possible to classify the games according to the space, the number of players, the vehicle used, the gender and age of the players, the period of life, the toys used in the game. This study has taken into account the place of the game. In this context, a comparison was made between street games and screen games (digital games), and more of them focused on the qualities of screen games. Literature on the subject has been scanned, research findings and discoveries that contribute to literature have been tried to determine the nature of the subject.
